Audrey is studying psychology with a behavioral neuroscience concentration at the University of Memphis. She frequently works with younger students building fundamental math and reading and soft skills. She also helps older students excel in biology, chemistry, algebra, geometry, and English. Helping a student with time management and organization to lower stress levels is also incredibly important to her.
Antonio is a music major, speaks Spanish and tutors students in math, science, and English. He graduated from Christian Brothers High School and is currently studying music at the University of Memphis. Antonio loves to work with students to help them understand what they are missing.
Nick tutors students in math, science, and English, with specialties in statistics and chemistry. He graduated from Houston High School and is currently studying engineering at the University of Memphis. Nick loves to see student’s reactions when they finally understand the material.
Chinnu tutors students who need help with math, science, or English, especially math and chemistry. She is a junior at White Station High School. Chinnu loves to help students understand not just the homework, but the concepts behind the work given.
Rahul is a hard-working freshman at Rhodes College with an intended Biology major with a minor in Education and Urban Studies. He is studying on the pre-med track with hopes of becoming a pediatrician.
Eli specializes in mathematics, coding, and reading comprehension, especially with elementary-level students. He graduated from White Station High School and earned his Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Memphis. Eli believes in teaching research and study skills, with an emphasis on cultivating curiosity and understanding how to learn. He hopes to not only help students conquer the new Core Standards, but prepare them to handle any future curriculum changes that will be thrown their way during their educational career.
Dan is a native Memphian who attended public and private schools before graduating from Houston High School in 2003. Dan received his undergraduate degree in Engineering from Northwestern University and a Masters in Engineering Management from Christian Brothers University. He briefly worked for Medtronic as a product development engineer before giving into his passion for a career in teaching. He is also the director of The Connection Home School Tutorial in Collierville.
